I would say it’s probably the best Taiwanese cuisine food I have ever had in Taiwan easily (I have been quite a few Taiwanese wedding banquet dinners too). The noodles with local fish and fresh onions was fantastic and we ordered a second one. The duck soup was great with orange Lilly flowers. I was impressed and staff were really nice and accommodating with part of family arriving late. Desserts were pretty good too. It is family style so it’s better to have 4 or more people.

Definitely 1 of the best meal in Tainan! Very localised Taiwanese style restaurant which well known among the people in Tainan. We had most of their signature dishes and all the dishes were not fancy type but really delicious! Our favorite of the night was the braised duck thick soup!

Their specalty dishes are really good. Duck casserole-looks blah but really tasty. It is a big bowl for 6+ people to share. The crab with sticky rice is also worth trying. Service is sub par for the price. Go for just their top dishes and you'll be fine.

An institution to Taiwanese cuisine in its own right. Just think Taiwan style full on 10 course wedding banquet, annual D&D or lunar New year dinner. Big dish. It was an absolute joy dining here, for all their dishes were all so good! Thankfully they now have set meals for smaller groups. Highly recommended.

We were only three people, so we couldn’t order a lot. The food is amazing, really miss Taiwanese food when you live abroad! The staff are extremely nice and great hospitality! Would love to come back again, hopefully bringing more people and order more! Highly recommend to book and pre-order most of their dishes as they are truly amazing! Some dishes are only available when you pre-order.

Delicious and authentic Taiwanese/Tainanese cuisine. English/Japanese picture menu available. Difficult to order for small group due to large portion sizes. Competing restaurant, Ah-Xia, nearby.

A very traditional Chinese restaurant with some seafood specialties. It reminded me of every Chinese place I went to with my parents when I was a kid. Homely vibe with massive tables equipped with lazy susans. Everything was made fresh to order with big portions. I especially enjoyed the whole cod fish. The flan was good too, but a bit too much for my liking. Overall, only about $90 USD for three people, which included drinks and dessert. Would recommend.
